At Preferred, we understand better than most the importance of identifying ALL warrantable deficiencies which the builder is responsible for prior to the expiration of the 1-year closing date. Do not be caught battling with the builder for out-of-date deficiencies or worse, expensing repairs to unexpected or unknown deficiencies post 1 year. It is our experience that there will be deficiencies, some minor, and possibly some major red flags. Allow Preferred the opportunity to document those deficiencies the builder is obligated to correct.
Preferred recommends scheduling the same type of inspection performed prior to closing.
